We gun owners routinely say to one another that we have the "right" to keep and bear arms. Honestly, though: what kind of "right" do we have if we are afraid to use it?
When we're afraid to make a purchase at a gun show, own an interesting collection of firearms, or effectively protect our own home and family, then we've already lost most of the right to keep and bear arms.
There is one federal agency whose job is to instill fear into gun owners and dealers. That agency is BATFE. And JPFO wants to give them the boot. We've even put together a film production that we think will help deal a death blow to this rogue agency!

RE-ESTABLISH A BILL OF RIGHTS CULTURE
Matters in our country are getting worse daily. We're surrounded by police-state "security" measures that do little to make us safe but a lot to make us feel humiliated, bullied, and spied upon. Virtually all our freedoms are being curtailed – from the right to travel or speak freely to the right to have our homes secure against violent invasion by military-style police.
We have -- as Ben Franklin warned us we should never do -- traded away our freedom to get a little security. The result is exactly as Franklin predicted: We are increasingly less free and less secure.

THE SECOND AMENDMENT BATTLE
This is perhaps the biggest battle of all. The fight to protect and maintain this bulwark of the bill of rights. There is a need to educate and inform - these films do just that.
To this end JPFO has not only produced many articles on the subject ( a search will yield countless articles) - but also there were two very important award winning movies produced during 2008 and 2009 .... "2A Today for The USA" and "No Guns for Negroes". Both are available for download or view . Send these to any and all friends and even anti gun folks - make the case for rights and logic.

"GUN CONTROL" (Gateway to Tyranny)
A further extension of the 2A campaigning - but expressed within a book that covers the effects of gun control and the resulting possibilities of genocide. A disarmed populace is ripe for control by those in power who still have firearms.
The 1938 Nazi Gun Control Laws were very effective in setting up the scene for what followed. The exact same content was used to write the 1968 U.S. Gun Control act. The book also contains an actual copy of the correspondence between the U.S. bill's sponsor, Sen. Thomas Dodd, and the Library of Congress which translated the Nazi law for him. DEATH BY "GUN CONTROL"
"Death by "Gun Control" is another book dealing with the effects on the honest citizen if deprived of a legitimate means of self defense. The message is simple: Disarmed people are neither free nor safe - they become the criminals' prey and the tyrants' playthings. When the civilians are defenseless and their government goes bad, however, thousands and millions of innocents can die.
What disarms the citizens? The idea of "gun control". It's the idea that only the government has the right to possess firearms, and that citizens have no unalienable right to use force to defend against aggression. Of course the bad guys will as always be well armed - they have no desire to obey laws and any attempts at "Gun Control" will most assuredly not affect those people. The powers that be conveniently forget that as they seek control for control's sake.
INNOCENTS BETRAYED
A fast-moving, 58-minute modern production, Innocents Betrayed presents the entirely true accounts of how civilian disarmament made possible the killing of millions. The people keep the power so that government can not grow oppressive. These basic principles are what the Second Amendment recognizes and protects.
There are about 80 million gun owners in America. The vast majority are decent, nonviolent, non-criminal citizens. Most of them don't get involved. They don't understand how vital it is to protect the right to private firearms ownership. We need to awaken these gun owners, to energize them, to get them committed to protecting our rights.Innocents Betrayed is the best tool to rouse them, shake them, motivate them to join in the fight like never before.

DIAL 911 AND DIE
When seconds count, delays of minutes can be fatal. This book highlights the ineffectiveness of reliance on a 911 call for help. "You don’t need a gun because the police protect you from crime" is an often quoted phrase but the police have no legal obligation to protect the individual.
"Dial 911 and Die" kills the logical root of "gun control" ideology. Erase Americans’ blind faith in police protection, and a rational person who faces a risk of criminal attack on himself or his loved ones would never voluntarily allow himself to be disarmed.
Police typically investigate crimes after the fact -- they don’t prevent very many crimes. And the laws in nearly every state say that the police don’t even owe a duty to protect individual citizens. Citizens are on their own -- and the sooner they know it, the better.

JPFO has over time conducted many interviews and the Talkin' to America Page lists them for easy reference. These are for the most part all concerned with the second amendment, the law, and allied matters, including facts surrounding the abuses of the BATFE. They are presented as sound files in MP3 format and in many cases there is an accompanying transcript available.
